There are many ways for parents to help make Petaluma National Little League run smoothly.
The success of a league often depends on the number of devoted volunteers it has. And everyone in the Little League family, no matter how many years they’ve been a part of their local league, should find a way to volunteer. Find the role that interests you the most and that you can commit to, and raise your hand. While you’ll find your volunteer work extremely worthwhile and gratifying, it is the Little Leaguers who will benefit the most.
You could volunteer to...
- Be a Team Parent (organize snacks for games, help coaches with paperwork, hand out pictures etc.)
- Be an Umpire (have to be trained and commit to a certain amount of hours)
- Help our Sponsorship Manager to get new league sponsors
- Help at clean up days at Carter Field
- Be your team's scorekeeper using the scoreboard or in a score book
- Help in Snack Shack for a shift(s) - click here
- Running scoreboard at games
- Become a Board Member
- Be an Assistant Coach by helping run practices and coaching during the games
- Be a Manager
Our Little League is an all-volunteer organization and WE NEED YOU to keep going and make this a great experience for our kids. Contact anyone on the Board of Directors to find out more.
